Senrium was created to answer a simple question: What really causes tank disasters in established aquariums? The answer was almost always equipment failure. The H1 watched your equipment so you could relax.

Keep It Simple

The H1 monitored the three most important metrics to keep your tank alive and your floors dry:

Water temperature
Water level
Filter flow

Rather than trying to measure everything, the H1 cut the gimmicks out of aquarium monitoring and focused on the core failures that lead to real disasters.

What the H1 watched

Filter flow. A filter failure can cause a chemical disaster in your aquarium, including depleted oxygen levels and the death of nitrifying bacteria.

Water temperature. A broken heater is a serious threat to your aquarium and its inhabitants. The H1 watched for unexpected temperature swings.

Water level. If a tank sprung a leak or burst, the H1 could notify you immediately so you had a chance to act quickly.

Every Tank, One Sensor Package

The H1 used a two-part design: a hang-on-the-back water-level and temperature sensor, plus a satellite flow sensor that worked on nearly every aquarium—big or small, salt or freshwater.

Whether you were at home or on the go, the H1 kept you connected to your aquarium’s well-being, alleviating anxiety when you were away and empowering you to fix equipment issues quickly if they arose.

Senrium App, Android & iOS

A companion app for Android and iOS provided live readings, historical data, and notifications when something went wrong. Push alerts let you know about issues with flow, temperature, or water level so you could act before things escalated.

The Senrium Story

Senrium, LLC was an independent hardware and software company focused on making aquarium monitoring simple and reliable. The H1 was designed, engineered, and manufactured in small batches, with the goal of giving hobbyists and professionals a trustworthy tool for watching the parameters that really mattered.

The hardware was sold as a one-time purchase, with subscription features offered as an optional layer for users who wanted additional data and control. Over time, the market and priorities shifted, and the decision was made to retire the H1 and wind down Senrium as an active business.

This page remains as an archive of the product and the work that went into it.
